About Meeting Place
The meeting place is a place where young LGBTQI people aged 15-25, who have applied for asylum, or are new to Sweden, can meet. It is a place where the focus is on strengthening each other through different types of activities.
Meeting Place activities
The themes for Meeting Place are rights, safer spaces and creative processes. Sometimes we invite external guests and talk about rights, about the body or we may shift the focus for one evening and learn about how to make films, theater or write a poem.
We believe that using creativity makes you feel good. We also find a way of communicating with each other in the group through our common language of art.
There are always 2 to 3 youth leaders working at Meeting Place.
