RFSL Ungdom is the Swedish youth federation for LGBTQIA people’s rights. As a member, you contribute to a world filled with love and respect where all LGBTQIA youths are, live and express themselves as they want to. We make change together!

ABOUT NEWCOMERS YOUTH

Newcomers Youth is a member network of RFSL Ungdom for young queers with experience of migration – either personally or by previous generations. You can be an asylum seeker, having a work permit, being a student, being undocumented, coming from an EU-country or anything else.

Newcomers Youth is welcoming all young queers (15-30 years) who are new in Sweden. We are also welcoming youth who are born and/or raised in Sweden with experience of marginalization, exclusion or racism. 

Together we find strength, empowerment, but also joy and laughter. We support each other and organize ourselves.

SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES

Our staff can communicate in several languages and are familiar with the challenges of being queer with a migrant background in Sweden. We warmly welcome you regardless of gender, sexual orientation, color, ethnicity, legal status, ability, or religion. You are welcome, just as you are.

In addition to social gathering activities and youth camps, we also provide information and activities designed to enhance the well-being of our members.
